A ‘contact’ SIM Connector describes a connector with open contacts and no integral means of holding SIM card in place. That is handled by customers own design, usually by means of a plastic moulding.
Contact type connectors are suitable for Mini (2ff) and Micro (3ff) SIM cards as there is no change in SIM card contact design between SIM and Micro SIM.
