The Push-push/push-eject SIM connector type allows customers to push a SIM card into place, the 2nd push operates a spring which pushes out the card, this removes the need to extract the small and fiddly cards by hand.
Push-push/push-eject surface mount SIM connectors are either 6 or 8 contact pins. Push-Push is normally used in applications where the end user insets a card from outside the equipment, the connector is normally mounted on the edge of a PCB with the mating face accessible via the customer’s panel design.
